Operator Background

Dr. Nitin Bajaj has spent 25+ years doing the work, not advising on it. He has helped build businesses generating $400M+ in revenue, co-led 14 acquisitions worth $1B+, and operated across 10 countries spanning the U.S., Europe, South Asia, and the UAE.

He has worked with and inside organizations including IBM, Thomson Reuters, Esri, and Bloomreach, leading product, growth, and go-to-market functions at scale. That experience is the foundation for everything else: why his moderation lands differently, why founders trust him with their businesses, and why the people in his rooms walk out with something they can actually use.

The operator instinct doesn't turn off. It shows up in the follow-up question that breaks the polished answer open. It shows up in the ability to rebuild a growth engine in a business that's been stuck for three years. It's the same judgment, applied in different rooms.

What I Do

Two ways to work with me.

Speaking & Moderation and Operating Leadership are the offers. Product, growth, systems, acquisitions, and platform-building are the operating experience behind them.

Speaking & Moderation

For conferences, universities, founder summits, investor rooms, and leadership forums that need a sharper room, better pacing, and stronger questions.

Operating Leadership

For cash-flowing founder-led businesses typically generating $1–5M in annual revenue where the owner is ready to step back and hand over execution.

Doctorate

Nitin holds a doctorate focused on South Asian immigrant entrepreneurship, examining how founders build companies, networks, and economic mobility across the U.S.

Media Platform

The INDUStry Show

500+ conversations with founders, operators, and community leaders. Built to surface the real decisions, real tradeoffs, and what actually works beyond the polished narrative.

Community & Ecosystem

Building infrastructure for the South Asian community in the US.

In June 2024, Nitin co-founded the American South Asian Network (ASAN) — scaling it to 150+ in-person events across the U.S., reaching 40,000+ people, and building 300+ institutional and community partnerships across corporate, government, nonprofits, and universities in under two years.

He has also contributed to Pratham USA (marketing and strategy), helped launch Akshaya Patra in Southern California, and serves as a board member at SAHARA.

Operating Footprint

10 countries. U.S., Canada, Europe, India, and the UAE. Product, growth, operations.

United States, Canada, India, the UAE, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, and Ukraine. Cross-border operations, distributed teams, and execution across very different environments.

Personal

I've spent most of my career in rooms where the stakes were real, boards, boardrooms, conference stages, and the messy middle of running a business that matters to the person who built it. The work has taken me across 10 countries, through 14 acquisitions, and into hundreds of conversations with people doing something worth talking about. I'm based in Southern California. I co-founded ASAN in 2024 because I believe the South Asian community in the U.S. is an underutilized force, and building it has been one of the most meaningful things I've done. I'm most useful when the problem is real and the person on the other side is ready to move.
